Outkast x Final Drive
Bred by Adam Beck & Family Showpigs
This crossbred female was another one of our daughter
Kayla’s show gilts we exhibited at the 2014 NJSA Southeast Regional. This Outkast female was named Grand Champion Crossbred Gilt in the junior show. We are excited to put this one to work here and her dam is a Final Drive X Prom King Sow that is a littermate to Driven, our $21,000 STC boar sold to Lean Value in 2013. She will be a contributor here.
Rock Solid x WOW
Bred by Adam Beck & Family Showpigs
This blue crossbred female is the Reserve Division 2 Crossbred Gilt at the 2014 NJSA Southeast Regional shown by Macy Mead. This is one we liked at a very young age for the power and stoutness along with soundness and structure she had. Out of a good purebred Yorkshire sow, this one looks to have a promising future here too.

Sumlin x Recovery (Outkast's Mom)
Bred by Adam Beck & Family Showpigs
This chromed up female was another part of the successful show string we drug to Perry, Georgia to the NJSA Southeast Regional in 2014. This gilt won her class there for Cody Berling. She is out of our good Recovery sow that goes by the name of Outkast’s Mom around here and has garnered the bulk of our crossbred success. We stepped outside the box and bred her to Sumlin to get a breath of fresh air and it worked well. This female along with a couple of her littermates will go to work here and create some excitement.
Catalyst x Drop Down
Bred by Adam Beck & Family Showpigs
This female was one our favorites from the spring 2014 crop. She was the $4,000 purchase from our farm sale for the Thompson Family where she went on to be named Grand Overall Gilt at the Gibson Co, IN 4-H Fair. We were lucky enough to get this one back and are pumped about her future here. She is one of the neater babies we’ve made and feel she will pass that trait along to her offspring.

Fame x County Fare
Bred by Lane Mai
This Fame female was our 2nd purchase from the ABF-DWE Bred Gilt Sale. She is another one that attracted our attention in the group of breds put together for the sale. Bred by up and coming Kansas breeder, Lane Mai, she is a neat one to evaluate. We had to own this one too and glad we did. She is an awesome built one with big legs and great design. She will be a fun one to work with moving forward here.
Catalyst x Recovery
Bred by Adam Beck & Family Showpigs
This Catalyst sow is quickly becoming a strong piece of our foundation. She is out of our good Recovery sow known around here as 'Outkast's mom,' and this is a big reason for her productive prowess she contributes to our program. She consistently has good quality litters that top our sales year in and year out. We look for impact to be great around here for years to come.

Paparazzi x Recovery
Bred by Adam Beck & Family Showpigs
This calico sow is a foundation type female who is making a tremendous impact in our herd already. She is a littermate to the boar we used to have on stud called 'Somethin' Else' and is out of one of our Recovery sows that is a littermate to Rename. These Recovery sows have been our building blocks to our success today and this Paparazzi sow is a prime example of the kind of daughters they generate for us.
Recovery x Alias 106-2
Bred by Adam Beck & Family Showpigs
This Recovery sow is one of several that we have working for us here. She is out of our good Alias 106-2 sow and this combination has been deadly for us in the past in terms of making elite level showpigs. This sow lays the foundation that we are looking for in terms of maternal crossbred sows that flat out generate.
Recovery x Alias
Bred by Adam Beck Family Showpigs
This black headed sow is the one when people ask what your best sow is....is the answer to that question. She is known around here as 'Outkast's mom' as she is the mother of the popular Outkast boar we have on stud here. She has several daughters in our herd and is the new foundation of our crossbred program. We rarely let daughters leave out of her and the ones that did have went on the preform well for their owners. She is a true centerpiece for Adam Beck & Family Showpigs!!
Recovery x Swamp Monkey
Bred by Brinning Genetics
This Recovery sow from Brinning was one of a handful of littermates that we had to the popular Upperhand boar they called Rename. These sows helped boost our crossbred program to a new level. unfortunately this is the only one we have left and she is a dang good one. She consistently generates babies that have the extra shape and muscle with added bone that we strive for in our showpigs. Babies out of her look the part little and feed great for new owners. She is one that will always have a lasting legacy in our sow herd for many years.

County Fare x I Am Legend
Bred by Ottenwalter Showpigs
This is our $12,500 purchase from the 2012 Crossbred Classic. This County Fare sow was bred by Ottenwalter Showpigs and had a very successful show career for the DWE crew. We purchased this one as we felt she was one of the more elite females we had seen in awhile and that she brought new blood into our herd. She is already making an impact as we have a tremendous keeper gilt along with selling some very popular bred gilts and babies out of her thus far. She too is one that we feel will make a huge impact in our herd.
Drop Shot x Fast Pace
Bred by Adam Beck & Family Showpigs
This blue belted Drop Shot sow is one we like a great deal for her ability to generate complete, fault free babies that feed extremely well. She follows her mothers footsteps in terms of passing on the flawless design and build that goes back thru her generations. To top it off her color pattern transmits very well into her offspring making them popular at sale time.
Warfare x Recovery
Bred by Adam Beck & Family Showpigs
This belted sow is out of the legend Warefare back on the Recovery sow (Outkast's Mom). We always mate this Recovery sow to legendary boars trying to make a son to put in the stud so this sow comes by way of that mating. She is a productive female who follows her mother's footsteps in terms of producing consistent sellable offspring that feed easy. She too will make an impact in our herd.
Shoot Em x Skywalker
Bred by Adam Beck & Family Showpigs
This Shoot 'Em sow was probably the best gilt we farrowed in the spring of 2012. We felt that she was one we needed to hold back so never offered her for sale. Sired by the ever popular Shoot 'Em boar and back out of one of our good Skywalker sows only sweetens the pot for the potential that we feel this one has generate for a long time around here.
Shoot Em x Drop Shot
Bred by Mench Showpigs
This our $5,000 purchase from the 2013 Crossbred Classic. This blue belted Shoot Em gilt was named Junior Division Champion in that show and also won her class in the 4-H show. We are a sucker for the blue belted color and she caught our eye during the 4-H show and jumped on the chance to own her at the Crossbred Classic. We feel this is one that can be that foundation type female and look for her make a huge impact in our crossbred program.
New Divide x Fatal Attraction 87-2
Bred by Deck Showpigs
This New Divide sow comes from our good friend Jay Deck and is one that has stood the test of time here as she continues to generate litter after litter for us. While she may not be the most pretty thing to look at in person she makes a tremendous set of babies each time. They go out and feed well for new owners and are easy to sell for us. She definitely earns her keep around here.
Skywalker x Immortal 76-4
Bred by Adam Beck & Family Showpigs
This Skywalker sow is another one of those individuals that leaves her mark every time she farrows a litter. She consistently generates sellable babies that continue to look the part until show day. She is out of a good Immortal 76-4 sow that did us a whale of a job when she was in production here. That sow was a littermate to the boar, All Day, that we sold several years ago privately for $20,000! We wish those sows were still working for us but this Skywalker sow carries on their tradition quite well around here.

Gary Coleman x Miss Hathaway
Bred by Premium Blend Genetics
This was our high dollar baby pig purchase from the Laird crew and is a littermate to their boars Arnold and Honey Badger. We purchased this female to bring us new genetics and make an impact in our Berkshire herd and boy did she. In her first litter she produced the all time record selling Berkshire litter including a $8,500 gilt that went on to be named Champion Berkshire & 5th Overall Gilt at the 2013 WPX then Champion Berkshire Gilt at the STC where she sold for $7,750 for the DWE Crew. This litter also produced a class winning barrow at the WPX for Brock Allen. We feel this one will continue to implement her legacy in our herd, much like the Miss Hathaway sow has done for the Laird Family.

Cole Mine x Ice Age
Bred by Adam Beck & Family Showpigs
This Cole Mine sow is one of 3 we retained from one of the best litters born here. This particular one was driven to Grand Overall Gilt honors at the 2014 NJSA Southeast Regional for Macy Mead. All 3 of those were successful show gilts and we are excited about their future here. The Ice Age mother is one of the backbones of our successful Yorkshire herd and these gilts should follow her legacy well. Excited about the future of our Yorkshire program with this trio.

Cole Mine x Ice Age
Bred by Adam Beck & Family Showpigs
This Cole Mine sow is one of 3 we retained from one of the best litters born here. This particular one was driven to the title of Reserve Champion Division 2 Yorkshire Gilt at the 2014 NJSA Southeast Regional for Cody Berling, only to be beat by her littermate.

This particular one was driven to a 3rd Place finish at the 2014 NJSA Southeast Regional for our daughter Kayla Baker, only to be beat by her littermates. All 3 of those were successful show gilts and we are excited about their future here. |
Ice Age x Bulletproof x Prom King
Bred by Adam Beck & Family Showpigs
This Ice Age sow is a foundation centerpiece in our Yorkshire herd and a big contributor to our recent successes in this breed. She lays down and has big, consistent litters that are always flat good regardless what boar she is mated to. Her Prom King Grandma is what got our Yorkshire program rolling and this sow is quickly off to starting her own legacy here. She is the mother of the popular 3 Cole Mine gilts retained here.
Ground Level x Magnus
Bred by Lambright Showpigs
This Ground Level sow was our $3,250 purchase at the 2014 STC. Bred by Lambright Showpigs, she was successfully campaigned to a 1st Place finish in her class for Jess Rodenbeck in the open show at Louisville. This one we felt we needed to add because of her awesome build and design. She was square and true with excellent feet and leg placement and from the side gave you an awesome look. We are excited about the potential of this one as a future brood sow here.
Gringo x True Grit
Bred by Ricker Showpigs
This Gringo female was our 2015 WTC purchase where she was named the Champion Yorkshire Gilt for Scott Gardner and Family from Pennsylvania. We loved this one for the balance and design coupled with power and stoutness she possessed. When we found out she was a Ricker bred female we were even more excited because of the productivity of females that derive from there. This one will get a solid chance here.
Shoot the Moon x Onslaught
Bred by Will Hilty
This Shoot the Moon female was our other purchase of the 2015 WTC. She was a class winner and the top selling gilt in the Yorkshire show for the McMillen Family of North Carolina. Bred by Will Hilty, one of the hottest Yorkshire breeders out there, we know this one will generate for us. When she hit the ring we knew we had to own this one and felt she could be the next step in continuing our strong Yorkshire program.
Final Drive x Bulletproof
Bred by BOLO Showpigs
This incredible Yorkshire female was our $5,500 2013 WPX purchase where she was a class winner in the open show. She is also a littermate to the $100,000 Final Proof at Hi Point Genetics. This is one of the more massive females of any breed that we have ever had the opportunity to own and feel like she is going to implement her power in our herd for several generations to come.
WOW x Anchor
Bred by Ottenwalter Showpigs
This dynamite WOW daughter comes to us from Ottenwalter Showpigs and was our bred gilt purchase from them. She was bred for a crossbred litter and a barrow from that litter was named Reserve Grand Champion at Miami Co, KS in the summer of 2013. We feel this one will bring a bunch of generating power to the table as her pedigree is new blood for us and her physical traits are impressive.
Power Drive x On The Verge
Bred by Moyer Genetics
This impeccable Yorkshire female was a $12,500 baby pig purchase from Moyer by DWE. These successfully showed this gilt and sent her to me for the bred gilt sale. After some discussion, we felt she was too good to part with so we decided to partner on her. She is one impressive female and possesses many traits sought after in the Yorkshire breed today. We feel that she will be an influential generator around here for a long time.
Power Drive x Moonshine
Bred by Mullins and Peters Showpigs
This Power Drive female was the 3rd Overall Yorkshire gilt at the 2013 NJSS shown by Cody Berling. We had the opportunity to see this female several times this summer and felt fortunate when could obtain her for a sow from Cody. It took $10,000 to own her but feel its worth every penny with the generating power she bring us. Watch for her to make an impact here as well.

Prom King x New Beginning
Bred by Todd Harris Family Genetics
This is the sow simply known as 'The Denhart Sow' around our farm. We purchased her in the 2009 STC where she had been named Grand Overall Gilt in the NJSS for Austin Denhart. We had high hopes for this female the day we bought her and she has yet to let us down. Her foundation can be found throughout our Yorkshire herd as she has given us several replacement females to add back in. She also produced our popular 2012 STC entry, Driven, that sold for $21,000 to LVS. Her daughters generate for us as well as she is the grandma of our Grand Overall Gilt at the 2014 NJSA Southeast Regional. If you made us pick one sow that has left the biggest impact in our herd it would be without a doubt 'The Denhart Sow'!!!!!
Final Drive x Prom King
Bred by Adam Beck & Family Showpigs
This Final Drive sow is a littermate to our Driven boar sold at the 2012 STC. She is a daughter of 'The Denhart Sow' and is already following the path of her mother in being a good generator for us. She is one we have big expectations for in what she can do. She is a prolific individual to view and passes on those traits consistently in her offspring.

Incredible x Royal Flush x Crown Royal
Bred by Valleybrook Farms
This Duroc female is our $13,000 Fall Classic purchase where she was named Champion Duroc Gilt. Bred by the Bond Family from Kansas, this one has a pedigree cemented with champions. The red breed is one we love quite a bit here and when we saw this one she had to come to ABF. Her balance, design, and look paired with her flawless feet and legs have us pumped for the future direction of the Duroc program here.
Light 'Em Up x Trojan Horse
Bred by Weisinger Farms
This female was our $10,000 bred female purchase out of the ABF-DWE Bred Gilt sale. Dylan purchased this one from Nate and the crew as a baby for $15,000. She was successfully shown throughout the summer earning Top 5 in her divisions at both WPX and Louisville. When this one arrived at the farm for the bred gilt sale we knew we couldn’t let her leave unless it took a whole bunch of money to do so. Sired by Light ‘Em Up, she is one of the more impressive mature red females we have laid eyes on. With the addition of her, our Duroc program has a bright outlook.
Knight Club x High Roller
Bred by Knight Showpigs
This Duroc gilt was purchased from the Knight boys in the fall of 2013 with the intent to be our daughter Kayla’s show gilt for Perry. She went on there to be named the Reserve Grand Overall Gilt & Champion Duroc. Only to be beat by the Cole Mine Yorkshire Gilt we also produced. She has a bright future here and is already off to a quick start as she produced the Reserve Champion Duroc Barrow at the 2015 NJSA Southeast Regional shown by Macy Mead.
Rib Crib x Can't Touch This
Bred by Flashpoler Farms
This is the $4,500 Reserve Champion Duroc Gilt from the 2012 IN State Fair. This female is out of Rib Crib and as you can see we love Rib Crib daughters for their ability to generate awesome Duroc babies. Rib Crib females have done a lot of good in our program thus far and with the addition of this one we feel she will continue that kind of work around here.
Rib Crib x Only Approach
Bred by JJ Genetics
This is our $18,000 2013 STC purchase from Guy Jackson. Jada Johnson successfully showed this gilt to 4th Overall honors in the NJSS show and we fell in love with this gilt as soon as we saw her. It may have taken a little more than we liked to own her but she is worth every cent. Sired by Rib Crib she is one we feel will generate desirable offspring that will go out and win. She will definitely make an impact around here and continue to head our Duroc program in the right direction.

Waiting Game x Bullfrog
Bred by Adam Beck & Family Showpigs |
Tadpole x Big Gulp
Bred by Corya Family Showpigs
This Tadpole female was our $5,000 2012 IN State Fair purchase where she was easily named Champion of the Open Show. Prior to that she was name Reserve Champion Spot and 5th Overall Female at the Team Purebred Jr. Show in Springfield for the Trout Family. Out of the powerhouse Tadpole, that was lost way too early, and Corya's prolific Big Gulp sow makes this one the foundation spot sow that we were looking to add. We feel she will be just the right direction to start our spotted program.
Bullfrog x Texas Hold 'Em
Bred by Troy Lowdermilk
This is our $3,200 Indiana State Fair Open Show purchase from Troy Lowdermilk. We have gotten pretty fond of the spotted breed the last couple years and felt this is one that fit the mold of the spotted herd we are trying to put together. Being sired by our good Bullfrog boar and knowing how the Corya pedigreed genetics generates was just icing on the cake to bring this one home with us. She too will make spots better for us.

Alias 106-2 x Recovery
Bred by Adam Beck Family Showpigs
This sow has stood the test of time here and continues to build her legacy on her own and thru her daughters in production here. She is one that has always does a knockout consistent job of producing consistent, high quality, sellable offspring. She is one that has definitely made an impact around here and will continue to do so for hopefully quite some time. |

Alias x Monkey Breath
Bred by Tye Lettow
Words can’t describe how excited I am about this gilt. She is out of one of the most powerful litters that I have seen in quite sometime. She is a littermate to the $34,000 Alien Monkey and Spunky Monkey both at Lean Value Sires. She is one powerful female. When she comes at you she is so opened up you could roll a bowling ball between her legs. She is monster boned and huge hipped. She should have a dynamite litter being bred one of the most proven boars in the industry, JLM Seven-Two.
Louisville Slugger x Totally Juiced
Bred by Brett Goff
I purchased this gilt at the 2005 NSR Extravaganza. She was the 3rd overall Duroc Gilt. At the first jackpot show of the season in Indiana, she was Reserve Grand Champion Overall. Due to an injury, this gilt was never shown again, but grew out of the injury extremely well. Her littermates that Brett Goff showed ended up being named 1st place boar at the Summer Type Conference, while the other was 1st place boar at the Indiana State Fair.

Alias x Survivor
Bred by Tye Lettow
What can I say, this sow has been the most productive crossbred sows that we have ever had!!! We currently have seven of her daughters and one grand daughter in our sow herd. She consistently produces hogs that are heavy muscled, stout and very good on their feet and legs. Her pigs look great as babies and grow out to be even better mature hogs. 10-4 is a great one!!!

Animal House x Bone Collector
Bred by Earl Cain and Family

This is the foundation of our Hampshire operation!! We purchased this sow as a bred gilt from Earl Cain and Family for $4,000 at the World Class Bred Gilt sale!! She has really set the tone for what we are trying to do with our Hampshires. She is massive in her structure, really level in design and out through her hip. She is the best Hampshire sow that we have ever had. Her offspring include the Reserve Champion Hamp gilt at the 2008 NJSA Southeastern Regional and she is the mother of our popular $12,000 Indiana State Fair entry Unreal at Hi Point. We currently have four of her daughterís in our operation that are making track records for themselves.

This was one of the best Berkshire gilts that I had seen!! Her littermate was the Champion Berk gilt at the Belt Buckle. She is extremely stout, and really sound on her feet. She has an outstanding litter out of Black Diamond.

This young sow has me very excited!! She was the Grand Champion Gilt overall at the Illinois State Fair Jr. Show. She is awesome in her design, great on her feet, and is blown wide open. She did a great job with her first litter. They look great!!! |
